Dr. Karen Rosen will host an informational workshop on applying to graduate school in Clinical Psychology. Topics to be discussed include: the different types of programs (Ph.D. vs. Psy.D., Clinical vs. Counseling Psychology); the application process; ways to prepare yourself for applying to graduate programs; and ideas about what to do if you don't get in. There will be a special guest at the meeting - a former BC Psychology major who is now in a Clinical Psychology doctoral program in the Boston area. There will be an opportunity to talk to her about her experience getting into graduate school, and you will have a chance to ask questions.

Former BC students will talk about their experiences post-graduation -- one is working in a full-time research position, one is working in a clinical position, one is a student in a Masters in Social Work program, and one is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology. They will share a bit about their experiences post-graduation, about the decision they made to pursue the work they are doing right now, and about their future career plans. Their stories and advice will be relevant and helpful to current Psychology majors.
